This year we attended the UK Games Expo for the first time. Over 70,000 people wandered its stalls over the three days, filling four huge halls at the UK’s biggest exhibition centre (the NEC, Birmingham). As first time visitors and exhibitors, we were overwhelmed by the sheer size of it and the thousands of wonderful board gamers we met. Over the three days, we ran constant demos of Escape From Pompeii at two tables, participated in the very first year of the hugely popular UKGE pin collective, and gave out hundreds of free stickers and flyers. It was amazing to speak to so many enthusiastic gamers and hear the heartwarmingly positive feedback from everyone who saw and played the game. It was also a brilliant start to the Escape From Pompeii Kickstarter, which launched with a bang. It was an absolutely incredible (and exhausting) three days. Thanks for having us, UKGE.

We had an incredible time at AireCon X in Harrogate last weekend! Thank you so much to everyone who came and demo’ed Escape From Pompeii at our stall. It was a fantastic weekend of fun and games and we were blown away by the wonderful community of gamers we met there. It was great to see our game being enjoyed by such a broad range of board gamers of different ages. It was also the first time we were able to try out our brand new prototypes, finally complete with amazing mosaic artwork by Rob Ingle. The feedback from everyone who played was overwhelmingly positive which we couldn't be happier about. We can't wait to get out the prototypes and don our togas once again at UKGE in May!
